Rum It Yourself! is a story of people who are passionate about new tasting experiences and fine flavours, curious to experiment on their own.
Eager for new culinary and cultural experiences, I have been travelling the world for more than 14 years: from the four corners of Africa (literally!), to Asia, Europe, and the Americas. I love to discover local produce while keeping the goal of sharing these discoveries with the greatest number of people. Engineer, musician, and marathon runner, you'll find me in front of a beautiful landscape with a book in one hand and a camera in the other.
This story of flavoured rums began in Madagascar in 2006, at the restaurant "le Saka Manga", when the chef put a bottle of vanilla rum on the table at the end of the dinner. From then on, this product became a passion, and the shelves of my house became covered with bottles of all colours and flavours.
A few years later, my flavoured rums went to Vietnam, then were distributed in a few bars in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
The product Rum It Yourself! now allows me to share my passion with you in North America, and let you discover this exceptional, refined, custom-made product, that allows you to create flavoured rums in your own home, tailored to your taste.
